World Health Care Congress Europe 2011

Spending today and tomorrow at the World Health Care Congress Europe 2011 to chair a session on Personalised Medicine and to lead a networking luncheon on Patient Centric Care - Placing Patient at the Core Centre First. It is a bit sad that patient centric care is still something so rare that its the theme of a networking luncheon instead of the very basis of all care.

Easier to get ones medicines in Sweden.

The annual figures from the Pharmacy trade association are out. Since the deregulation 202 new pharmacies have opened all across Sweden. One per 8300 citizens instead of one per 10000. Also the opening hours have increased to an average of 53 hours per week.
